It is with great sadness, that Fargo Duplicate Bridge announces the death of a long term member of our club.
Jerry Burdeski served as a club manager, until he had some terrible medical issues.
Jerry you will be missed by many, even those beyond our local club.
May you rest in peace.

The Fargo Duplicate Bridge Club is taking a few days to enjoy summer and the NABC in Minneapolis!
We will have a game on Wednesday, July 8, 6:30 PM at the Ed Clapp location.
Games Thursday, July 9, Monday July 13, Wednesday July 15, Thursday July 16 are cancelled.
All games resume Monday, July 20, 2026, 12:15 arrival, game time 12:30!
Yes, the dates coincide with the NABC Minneapolis 2026! Many of our club members will be attending. We wish all great fun and great bridge!

Exciting update on the Bridge “Revival” Class!
Thank you to Mark Sinner, Mary Rutten for taking the lead as instructors!
A shoutout to Sylwia McNamara for her guidance and establishing a fun learning environment on the first evening!
Other club members were present helping and playing,
thank you to all of you who were at my home attending the “Inaugural social bridge gathering”!
Mark and Mary are using Whirlwind Bridge’s Learn Bridge in a Day student manuals.
Four classes have been held so far, with the most recent last Wednesday.
Five participants were there —Norah, Jon, Nancy, KC, and Curtis—learned and played. Terri and Tyler were unable to attend.
They were invited by club members Jack, Rosie, Mary R and me. Another “Bridge Revival” offering is tentatively planned for end of July, beginning of August.
We already have three names to invite to the next session!
The growth of our club will come from the referrals you provide welcoming individuals to participate in the next class offering!
Provide names and contact information of individuals who may have an interest to Mark, Mary or me! Thank you!

Theresa Kalbrener , a past regular at the Fargo Bridge Club passed away June 4th 2026.
Her funeral will be at Amundson Funeral home on Tuesday ,June 16th at 11AM in Grand Forks.
Terry, I will miss you as will many others.
